Every two weeks Grey Court had a screen free afternoon and ran activities that encouraged studnets to get active outdoors. We ran a house sports competition for most miles / kms undertaken with separate categories for pupils, staff and parents/carers. 

Participants could cycle, run or walk and log their activity on an app and then send that in as their evidence. House points were awarded for a numberof things, including:

most participants inteh activity by year by house

highest number of Kms (1st, 2nd, 3rd) by year both overall and by house

This was done for staff (by house) adn for parents and carers (also for their student's house)

p[articipation was incredibly high.

This followed on from the success of the Borough Sport Day in June 2020 when we ran a similar event involving wider family memebrs too.
