Throughout the consultation process, we worked alongside Sustrans and Living Streets on the implementation of this scheme. This includes virtual parent coffee mornings and virtual assemblies with all of the students – highlighting especially to the students that these School Streets are not Play Streets and they still need to look left and right before crossing the street (not total elimination of cars!).
