The school participated in the Richmond Bikeability Level 2 cycle training in 2022-23 for year 6 pupils.  Each pupil will attend 5 sessions of 1½ hours, Monday - Friday.  We had two groups across 2 weeks for the training.  Group A -13:15 – 14:45 on w/c 10 Oct 2022 and Group B -13:15 – 14:45 on w/c 17 Oct 2022. Year 6 pupils were told about the importance of the children having road worthy bikes is mentioned.  The first day of training is spent in the playground when every effort will be made to ensure that all riders have enough control of their bikes to take part.  Any pupil with insufficient control of their bike will not be able to take part in the on-road training.  The instructors will ensure that all riders are wearing a cycling helmet.
