On 6.3.20 my colleague and I attended the TFL Travel Plan Conference. Myself as the travel plan lead and my collegue as the eco-comittee lead are working to collaborate our pupil comittees on a number of incentives therefore the conference was an excellent opportunity for us to collate ideas. Listening to a number of key speakers gave us opportunities to hear schools examples and journeys. In addition it reminded us of why we are working towards our accreditations, highlighting the signifcant impact of individual schools in the borough working together to drive change. Following the conference, I collated my notes and circulated these to different staff within out trust of schools. Along side this, I extended an invite to work together on some incentives e.g. getting staff active and reducing staff car usage. Key points and policy developments will be shared in our staff meeting.
