In  travel training sessions this year we explored  different ways of travelling in the captial. We have so far covered walking routes, bicycles/lanes, buses, trains, tubes and highly anticipated river boat service as requested from term 2 survey. The learners were so excited. Planning a bus journey to the pier, walking safely to the peir and checking the timetable. The learners conducted themselves so well and as role models as there were some younger primary school children and tourist on the boat. Some 3 of the more able learners were able to assist with booking the tickets in advance using their concession (freedom pass).  A was encouraged to enjoyed London using this service in the future by booking indpependently. A step by step guide was produced to assists the learners.
