To lauch TFL stars in our school, we combined it with the Young Writers competition launch titled, "The Big Green Poerty Machine".

As this linked well with the theme of nature and caring for the environemnt, we thought it would be a fun and creative way for the children to think and reflect on the world around them.

Each year group has a differnt poerty style and environmental topic to base their poems on. All  English lessons from Monday 30th Jan - Friday 10th Feb with be based on this and the children creating their poems.

Poems will then be sent off and published in a 'Young Writers' book
