Each house at our school raises money for charity. Omar Khayyam house chose Friends of the Earth.

Despite being in lockdown #3 we went ahead with the Enterprise Day assembly for all students and encouraged members of this house to get involved with some of the campaigns by walking/running/cycling instead of using the car and asking to be sponsored for these activities.

238 students watched the assembly.

Student A said "This makes me want to get involved with campaigns and petitions for issues that I am passionate about".

These events take place throughout the year and because those houses in Spring 2021 term were impacted by lockdown the decision has been made to equally donate to all 7 charities we support at the end of this academic year.
