Promote responsible behaviour on public transport
Ada Lovelace Church of England High School
London Borough of Ealing
Our story
We wanted to address the rising issue of anti-social behavior on public transport. We wanted to make sure that students knew what anti social behavior was and that students understood the effects of antisocial behavior.
Our YTA ambassadors (WP and Ada) had won £500 of funding in the previous academic year which they had used to create a short film about bus etiquette and anti-social behaviour.
We showed the film to all KS3 year groups in assemblies to both Ada (250) and WP (400) Year 7 & 8 students.
The message came over really well as it was delivered by their peers.
As a result we raised the profile of this issue in our school community and behaviour of our students was improved.
