Now the nights are getting lighter as we move into Spring we wanted to encourage students back on to their bikes for their school commute. Therefore we ran the Golden Lock Competition as we did last year. This year we awarded two prizes rather than one and have attached a photo of one of our winners and their prize.

The competition was promoted in assemblies in the week leading up to the event and the first instance of this took place on 10th February. We will run it again later in the year.

There was a definitely increase in the number of Year 7 students cycling in on the day and this is something we hope to maintain through the rest of this acadmic year.
