Travelling to school safely is something we encourage every year in our 'Year ahead information evenings'. The safeguarding section of the presentation to parents includes slides about how to travel safely to school - in particular where the crossings are for the A406, and notices about driving in Park View Road, particular discouraging driving to school and conscientious parking.

These messages were given to all parents who attended these presentaions for all year groups - up to 650 parents.

By elevating the profile of travel and safe driving around school with parents, we have supported student safety and a parent group has supported staff outside school with discouraging dangerius driving.
