Public transport for school trips - Tube
Ada Lovelace Church of England High School
London Borough of Ealing
Our story
Earlier this year our Y8 students went on an English trip to the Charles Dickens Museum. As a way to help our student familiarise themselves with travelling on London’s underground, our students travelled from our school in Ealing by tube on the Piccadilly Line, walking to North Ealing Station and getting off at Russell Square before walking 10 minutes to the museum. Not only did this save cost by not hiring a private coach, but also helped our students to become aware of how they can independently travel around the city. We hope to use TFL public transport for more trips in the future
