This year we formed a working group of students and staff who meet once a half term. This consisted of our TFL student ambassadors, but also open to any students who would like to attend. We often see drop-ins from members of the student council. We ask for one staff member from each department to attend. We started the year by discussing the feedback on last year’s survey. Outlining a want for more walking activities. Students have been working to plan a walking competition. Staff attending the meeting have been able to help students navigate the challenge of not having smart devices (thus pedometers) in school. We have also used this group to plan the road safety session, and the events for our upcoming Eco Active month.
