We were delighted to be able to take part in the second year programme to help us achieve gold status. We selected 12 students who had all applied to be TFL Travel ambassadors for the school with the hope to build their confidence by encouraging them to speak in assemblies and TFL events. Whilst participating in the challenge we have raised awareness of the benefits of Active Travel; increased road safety awareness and gave advice on how we can lower our carbon footprint as a school community. This was done through a range of assemblies on the importance of lowering carbon emissions;  form time sessions on road safety & clean air day; and school competitions such as our weekend walking competition. Throughout the year, our students grew in confidence and were able to raise awareness of a cause their truly cared about. This was clear to see in the TFL seminar held at the end of the year
