RideLondon

RideLondon

About this activity

Suitable for primary and secondary school pupils.

RideLondon is an annual cycling festival held in the Capital with a weekend-long family-friendly programme of bike rides, races and related events. This year it takes place on Sunday 29th May 2022.

This event is a great way to inspire both cyclists and non-cyclists to get on their bikes more often! Encourage your pupils to take part or go along to spectate either with their families and friends or as part of an organised school group.

Find more information on events, dates and locations on the RideLondon website.

Work with your school travel working group or cycling club to decide how your school would like to make the most of RideLondon.

How to evidence your activity

Add your story to the STARS website. Explain the activity, add photos and include feedback from your pupils and colleagues. Also include any promotional materials and letters home you produce, as well as any risk assessments.
